You are currently viewing our forum as a guest, and so only have access to the public threads containing information about the group and resources.
If you register on the forum, you will gain access to the members area where you can post questions and ideas, and access additional resources as they are submitted or created. We have a selection of Easy Read documents that you can print off and use/adapt in your work, and encourage members to help each other by sharing their own creations and other useful information. You may even find there is someone working not far from you that you can liaise with in your local area?
We want our group to be a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable place to meet with other people with a shared interest. If you would like to join the group you can do so by registering on this forum.
Please remember this group is only for professionals working with people with hearing loss and learning disabilities. We welcome both NHS and private users from any profession that want to improve their services for this group.
How to register:
To register, click on the Register link at the top of the page and enter your details.
You will be asked to create a username to login to the forum. You can choose to have this name represent you in the forum or have an alternative name visible to others. Once complete you will be advised that your registration is pending until agreed by a moderator. This is to protect the forum from fake accounts and bots.
You are able to enter a message to the admin team as you complete your registration - please use this to tell us your profession to confirm you are suitable to join the group.
Your account will be activated as soon as possible and we ask all new members to make their first post in the introduction thread in the members area.
We strongly recommend going to your profile and updating your notifications. Tick the boxes to receive email for all new posts and new threads to ensure you don't miss out on any of the conversation!
If you experience problems with the registration process please email [email protected] and advise us of the problem. We will respond to your email as soon as possible.
Thank you, we look forward to meeting you!
